Bellator Fighting Championships opens it’s fifth season tonight, September 10, from Caesars Atlantic City with the opening quarterfinals of their welterweight tournament.

Bellator 49 features a nine bout card from Caesars Atlantic City in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The four fight main card will air live at 9PM EST (6PM PST) on MTV2 in the U.S. and on TheScore in Canada. As well, a first for Bellator, the entire five bout prelim card will be shown live on Spike.com.

The Season Five welterweight tournament includes matches between Chris Lozano vs. Brent Weedman, Ben Saunders vs. Chris Cisnero, Luis Santos vs. Dan Hornbuckle, and Steve Carl vs. Douglas Lima.
