The latest Bellator Fighting Championships goes live tonight (29 Oct.) featuring a welterweight title bout and the Season Five Heavyweight Tournament seminfinals.

Bellator 56 takes place at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas with the live action beginning at 7pm EST on Spike.com with the preliminary card. The main card will air live on MTV2 in the U.S. (on EPIX in HD), and on theScore in, all beginning at 9pm EST.

Bellator welterweight champ Ben Askren meets season four tournament winner Jay Hieron in the nights main event, while tournament heavyweight pairings see Eric Prindle take on Ron Sparks, and injury replacement fighters Thiago Santos and Neil Grove are also set to meet in the other semifinals matchup.
