Bellator Fighting Championships returns to television one week after their season six opener last weekend with Bellator 61 this Friday (March 16, 2012) from the Horseshoe Riverdome in Bossier City, Louisiana.
The event features the opening quartefinal round of this seasons middleweight tournament with matchups between Maiquel Falcao vs. Norman Parasy, Vitor Vianna vs. Brian Rogers, Vyacheslav Vasilevsky vs. Victor O’Donnell, and Giva Santana vs. Bruno Santos set for the evenings main card.
Headlining the show from Bossier City will be a season five heavyweight tournament final between Eric Prindle and Thiago Santos. Both men fought to a “No Contest” last November at Bellator 59 after Santos landed an accidental kick to Prindle’s groin early in the first round, leaving ‘The American Soldier’ unable to continue.
This Friday’s live event will feature a live main card broadcast on MTV2, and a live prelim stream at Spike.com.
Weigh-ins for the event take place this Thursday (March 15) in the Orleans Room at the Horseshoe Riverdome beginning at 6pm EST (3pm PST).
