Join us and let us know what you think of tonight’s fights.

Lorenz Larkin vs. Keita Nakamura

Round 1 –

Ilara Joanne vs. Kana Watanabe

Round 1 – Joanne with a low kick, but Watanabe fires back with a counter. Nice combo from Joanne, and again. Watanabe tried to grab a kick but ate some shots. Good pressure from Joanne. Watanabe takes it down. Joanne looks for a kneebar. Now she sets up a triangle. Watanabe is stuck. Elbows from the bottom from Joanne. Watanabe fights out of it and lands a couple of punches. She’s working in side now. Good GnP. Back to half. She’s trying to pass or get an arm-triangle choke. She’s out of time. 10-9 Joanne for the early work.

Round 2 – Watanabe immediately looked for a head-and-arm throw, which wasn’t successful. She finally gets a takedown but ends up on the bottom. Not much happening here for a while. Joanne is just holding her in place, more or less. Watanabe finally reverses with 45 seconds to go and lands a bunch of punches. Way more than Joanne did in the first four minutes. I’m gonna give it Watanabe just for that flurry. 10-9 Watanabe.

Round 3 – Watanabe looks for a throw right away, and gets it. She’s on top in full guard. Joanne attacking an armbar from the bottom but it’s not there. Watanabe uses the cage to basically step over into mount, but she gets half guard back. She’s still in total control though. Two minutes to go. Watanabe lands a few shots inside. Joanne can’t get anything going. More punches. Joanne gives up her back. Watanabe not landing super hard but they’re basically undefended. She gets flattened out, and it’s over.

Kana Watanabe defeated Ilara Joanne via TKO (strikes), 4:39 of round 3

Goiti Yamauchi vs. Daron Cruickshank

Round 1 – High body kick from Yamiuchi. Cruickshank with a left. They trade low kicks. Yamauchi closes the distance and ends up on Cruickshank’s back. He’s looking to be a human backpack now. He uses the cage to push off and knock Cruickshank down, which was brilliant. He gets the squeeze going, and Cruickshank taps!

Goiti Yamauchi defeated Daron Cruickshank via submission (rear naked choke), 3:11 of round 1
