An upcoming Bellator Season Seven lightweight tournament final between Marcin Held (15-2) and Dave ‘The Fugitive’ Jansen (19-2) will have to be rescheduled for a third time after news of an undisclosed injury to Held surfaced on Monday.

The two had been scheduled to meet last fall in the final at Bellator 84 but Held was not allowed in the Horeshoe casino in Hammond, Indiana because he was unaderage. The two were then set to headline next months Bellator 92 event but the injury to the Polish fighter will force the promotion to reschedule once again.

News of Held’s injury was announced by MMajunkie.com on Monday morning noting that the two will now meet at Bellator 93 instead.

Bellator 93 is expected to take place on March 21, 2013 at the Androscoggin Bank Colisée in Lewiston, Maine. The bout between Held and Jansen should appear on the live Spike TV broadcast and could potentially headline.

Held rides a five fight win streak into the Season Seven Final with wins over Rich Clementi and Murad Machaev last fall to make it to the final two. This is the second Bellator Tournament for held who was choked out by current champ Michael Chandler in the Season 4 quarterfinals.

Jansen is also 5-0 with all matches taking place under the Bellator banner. The Season Seven Tournament marks Jansen’s first tourny with victories over Ricardo Tirloni and Magomed Saadulaev last fall putting him into the finals.
