Bellator Season Six Lightweight Tournament Trailer

Bellator Fighting Championships season four winner Michael Chandler was crowned the promotions new 155-lbs title holder last November when he stopped Eddie Alvarez at Bellator 58. Now a whole new crop of lightweight fighters are set to meet this month in their journey to a $100,000 contract and a shot at Chandler’s belt.

The lightweight tournament for season six begins on March 23, 2012 at the Laredo Energy Arena as Patricky Freire faces Lloyd Woodard, Rick Hawn meets Ricardo Tirloni, Brent Weedman takes on J.J. Ambrose, while Brazilians Thiago Michel and Rene Nazare face one another as part of the quarterfinals at Bellator 62.
