Former welterweight contender Josh Koscheck may have been trolling mma fans, or he may have been trying to pick a fight with former UFC champ BJ Penn when he announced on Twitter that he had accepted a fight versus ‘The Prodigy’.
Penn put the matter to rest after by posting his own message on Twitter (@bjpendotcom), saying that he is “not coming back anytime soon!”
– @joshkoscheck I know it costs a lot of money to live that lavish lifestyle, big house, fast cars & you need big fights but sorry I’m not coming back anytime soon!
Penn’s comments are certainly aimed at a recent piece on the program “UFC Ultimate Insider” that offered a glimpse at Koscheck’s lavish home-style.
‘The Prodigy’ hasn’t fought since last October when he lost a unanimous decision to Nick Diaz. Penn’s last win was against Matt Hughes at UFC 123 in his return to welterweight after back-to-back championship bout losses to Frankie Edgar.
