Former UFC and Bellator MMA standout Hector Lombard made the most out of his first official Bare Knuckle FC weigh in ahead of his debut this weekend at BKFC 10.

Lombard, 42, signed on with Bare Knuckle FC late last year following his release from UFC. The former Bellator middleweight champion had lost his final six fights inside of the Octagon and needed a new promotion to call home. While some expected Lombard to test his luck in ONE Championship or even a second stint under the Bellator banner, the Cuban powerhouse ended up inking the dotted line for some bare knuckle action.

That leads us into this weekend’s BKFC 10 event as Lombard readies himself to fight MMA journeyman David Mundell in the main event. While the two men are sure to throw heavy leather during their headlining bout, things got momentarily physical during yesterday’s official BKFC 10 weigh ins (see it HERE).

Lombard, who is known for his intimidating size and power, tried to get up close and personal with Mundell. The unknown MMA journeyman kept his cool and Lombard greeted him with a shove to the chest. Lombard immediately followed that up with a smile and shook hands with Mundell, as former UFC contender Anthony Johnson looked on ready to break up the action.

BKFC 10 will take place later tonight (Sat., Feb. 15, 2020) live on FITE.TV PPV from inside Broward County Convention Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and will mark the first professional fight for Lombard since his 2018 decision loss to Thales Leites at UFC Sao Paulo.
