Brazilian authorities today released UFC middleweight Maiquel Faclao after four days of detainment.

MMAjunkie.com today spoke with a representative from Falcao’s management team, who confirmed his client’s release.

Falcao had been detained in Pelotas, Brazil, in relation to a 2002 assault charge, though he was not placed in jail. The recent UFC signee today was issued an 18-month probation and will be allowed to travel freely from to fulfill his fighting assignments.
