Brian Ebersole appointed head coach of Evolve MMA fight team

UFC veteran Brian Ebersole has accepted the role of Head Coach for the Evolve MMA fight team. The American has extensive experience of coaching in Australia and Thailand and is a veteran of 71 fights.

Evolve MMA in Singapore has a reputation for being the top camp in Asia and boasts several famous champions and former champions on the roster including Rafael dos Anjos, Ben Askren, and Shinya Aoki.

Ebersole, who fought eight times for UFC and has previously worked as Head Coach at Tiger Muay Thai, is excited about the new role.

“The coaching role at Evolve MMA is truly a unique experience. I can’t think of another role quite like it anywhere in the world. I’m honored to have even been considered, and am ecstatic to have been offered this position as Head Coach.”

Ebersole made his pro MMA debut in 2000 and signed with the UFC 11 years later, winning his first four fights inside the Octagon. He has plenty of experience and plans to share it with the fight team at Evolve MMA.

“I look forward to sharing the knowledge of my 16-year MMA career with the talented athletes at Evolve MMA. I also get to continue my own studies as a martial artist as Evolve MMA has (a) large number of world champions. I’m looking forward to this transition into full-time coaching.”

Evolve MMA’S Angela Lee is booked to defend her atomweight belt in Singapore next month. Ben Askren will be in title action the same night while Rafael dos Anjos has a UFC bout booked in the same venue a few weeks later, so Ebersole is likely to have his hands full.
