Brian Stann has made official his drop to the
middleweight class and will meet Mike Massenzio at
UFC on Versus 2.
The news was first reported Tuesday evening by Heavy.com and
subsequently confirmed to MMAjunkie.com via sources
close to the event, who said the fighters have agreed to the contest and
are expected to sign bout agreements shortly.
UFC on Versus 2 takes place Aug. 1 at the EnergySolutions Arena in Salt
Lake City and is the second of two Versus-televised cards expected for
2010.
