An important heavyweight contest is starting to take shape for UFC 200, as former champion Cain Velasquez would meet Travis Browne.
According to FOXSports.com, verbal agreements are in place for the July 9 event from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Velasquez (13-2) lost the title last year to Fabricio Werdum, and was pulled out of a planned rematch after suffering a back injury that required surgery. He had won four in a row before the submission defeat.
Browne (18-3-1) has alternated wins and losses in his last four, including a January TKO over Matt Mitrione.
