This week’s UFC event in Montevideo Uruguay is a strange mix of longtime vets and exciting prospects, on top of lots and lots of filler. Valentina Shevchenko makes a quick turnaround from her June title defense in the main event, to take on new challenger Liz Carmouche. With top-shelf action fighters Vicente Luque and Mike Perry facing off in the co-main. A light heavyweight contest betwee Volkan Oezdemir and Ilir Latifi adds some bulk to the card. And the debut of former BJJ champion Rodolfo Vieira should spark some interest.
