UFC heavyweight Shane Carwin underwent successful back surgery on Wednesday and Tweeted that pick before heading into the operating room.

Update: @ShaneCarwin is out of surgery and in the recovery room. No complications during surgery.
Update 2 Surgery went well, it took just under 4 hours to complete. The nerve damage was worse than the MRI showed but they cleaned it up.
Update 3 Due to his size he is still technically out. He was able to communicate that he has no numbness and pain. Very successful…
