Strikeforce announced a live chat featuring heavyweight Josh “The Baby Faced Assassin” Barnett (29-5) and former Heisman Trophy winner, Cowboys running back and Strikeforce fighter Herschel Walker (2-0), for Wednesday afternoon at Dallasnews.com.
Both fighters will be available for about an hour to answer fan questions beginning at 3:15 PM EST. The live PR event is part of Strikeforce’s campaign to build interest in their upcoming Overeem vs. Werdum event next month.
Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum is set to take place on June 18 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
Barnett is set to fight on the card against Brett Rogers, as part of the Heavyweight Grand Prix Quarterfinals. The winner of that bout will move on to face Sergei Kharitonov who defeated Andrei Arlovski last February in their quarterfinal bout.
