Chiesa: Sanchez ‘touched my butthole’ at UFC 239

Michael Chiesa had his “oil checked” by Diego Sanchez at UFC 239, and there is evidence to support the claim.

At first glance, Michael Chiesa put on a dominant performance over Diego Sanchez at UFC 239, but the truth is he was put in a very compromising position.

Chiesa, 31, recently shared how Sanchez, 37, caught him with an unexpected attack in their welterweight clash. “I could feel he was butt-dragging me, and that’s whatever, but all of a sudden — I don’t know if he intentionally did it — but he literally, his fingers touched my butthole,” Chiesa recently told ESPN’s Ariel Helwani.

“I yelled at him, ‘get your fingers out of my ass, motherf—ker!’ I don’t think anyone heard it though,” he laughed. “In wrestling, when you get your fingers in the brown-star, we call that oil checking. So he was definitely checking my oil. I yelled at him to get his fingers out of my ass. I yelled it. I thought for sure, when the fight was over, ‘my God, I’m going to go on Twitter and it’s going to be everywhere,’ but I don’t think anyone heard it.”

Following the interview’s release, Helwani posted a screenshot from round two of Sanchez vs. Chiesa. With 12-seconds left in the bout, it seems Sanchez’s thumb did indeed so some dirty work.

Chiesa’s rectum may take time to recover, but he can find solace in the fact he has won two-straight fights since moving up to welterweight. The former top-10 lightweight fighter is expecting a ranked opponent in his next outing.
