Former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell will return to the ring for “Celebrity Boxing,” which is unlikely to provide either celebrities or boxing when former basketball player Lamar Odom battles recording artist Aaron Carter on June 11 inside Showboat in Atlantic City, NJ.

The card streams for $29.99 on FITE.

“The Iceman,” who retired from combat sports after sleeping on the job at Golden Boy MMA, is expected to serve as referee for the Odom-Carter main event. I guess that means he’ll wear one of those zebra shirts and break up the fighters when they inevitably gas and start hugging their way to the bell.

Also on the card, hosted by hip-hop icon Ice T and wife Coco, rapper Peter Gunz boxes music producer Cisco Rosado for reason not quite understood. In addition, the June 11 undercard is expected to air six celebrity boxing championship bouts featuring fighters you never heard of and probably don’t care about.

Welcome to the future!
