Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight champion, Junior dos Santos, will show off a new kind of footwork when he joins the new season of Dança Dos Famosos, the Brazilian version of “Dancing with the Stars.”

“Cigano” will follow in the footsteps of retired UFC heavyweight Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, a former Danca Dos Famosos contestant, as well as retired light heavyweight Chuck Liddell and current flyweight Paige VanZant, who recently strutted their stateside stuff.

“Initiating one more week working hard and full of motivation,” Dos Santos, 35, wrote on social media. “Now it is double training. Are you ready?”

Dos Santos (21-6) is coming off a technical knockout loss to heavyweight power-puncher Francis Ngannou, a first-round finish that snapped a three-fight win streak. No question this latest endeavor, which begins Aug. 25, will keep the Brazilian boxer out of action for the rest of the year.

He currently sits at No. 3 in the official rankings.
