Claudia Gadelha is out of the upcoming UFC event in Poland.
The Nova Uniao fighter, who was scheduled to meet Irish strawweight Aisling Daly at the UFC Fight Night 64 card in Krakow, Poland, on April 11, was forced to pull out of the event due to back issues.
Gadelha initially revealed the news on her social media but quickly deleted the post, but MMAFighting.com confirmed the news with sources close to the situation. The UFC has yet to announce the news and if Daly will get a new opponent for UFN 64.
Gadelha (12-1), who chose not to be on the Ultimate Fighter season that would crown the first UFC strawweight champion in 2014, defeated Tina Lahdemaki in her Octagon debut. She then suffered her first professional loss in a close decision against now 115-pound champion Joanna J?drzejczyk in December.
Daly (15-5), who went 1-1 on TUF 20, scored a first-round armbar over Alex Chambers in her official debut in the UFC in December. The Irish standout, who holds a stoppage win over bantamweight contender Jessica Eye, trains with featherweight contender Conor McGregor at Straight Blast Gym.
Headlined by a rematch between Gabriel Gonzaga and Mirko Cro Cop, UFC Fight Night 64 takes place at the Krakow Arena in Poland.
