“He would piece up Conor for sure. No doubt about it.”

Dana White is adamant it will never happen, but there’s still a lot of talk about a potential welterweight bout between Jorge Masvidal and Conor McGregor.

White believes McGregor, the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion, is too small for Masvidal and teammate Colby Covington echoed the UFC president’s sentiments in a recent interview with Submission Radio.

While insulting current welterweight champ Kamaru Usman ‘Fakenewsman’, ‘Chaos’ predicted that ‘Gamebred’ would ‘piece up’ McGregor in the Octagon.

“He would piece up Conor for sure,” Covington said. “No doubt about it. Conor’s too small. He’s a little guy and you know, this and that. So, that’s that, but you know, 170, we’re not talking about that, we’re talking about Marty Fakenewsman and we’re talking about that receding hairline that he has. He’s losing that hairline faster than he’s about to lose that number one contender Power Ranger belt. The guy’s on borrowed time right now, boys.”

McGregor has yet to publicly address Masvidal, but White says his comments about Masvidal being too big him didn’t go down too well with the Irishman.

McGregor is reported to be nursing a hand injury and is rumored to return the Octagon by the end of the year.

Covington, meanwhile, is expected to challenge Usman for the welterweight title at the upcoming UFC 244 PPV at Madison Square Garden, New York, although the bout has yet to be confirmed.
