UFC lightweight Cole Miller (17-4) has had an ongoing war of words with former WEC lightweight Donald Cerrone for years now, and Miller is tired of the verbal sparring.
Apparently, according to Miller, Cerrone started calling him out after his teammate Leonard Garcia was beaten by Miller in Sept. 2007 at a UFN 11 event. Since then both men have been jarring back-and-forth, in a recent video Miller said he’d rip Cerrone’s arm and take it home as a trophy.
Both men have upcoming fights within the month, Miller faces Matt Wiman at UFC: Fight for the Troops 2, while Cerrone makes his UFC debut against Paul Kelly at UFC 126.
Miller was a recent guest on MMAWeekly Radio and spoke about the ongoing feud.
“I’m just tired of this guy and his same old song. Every time I see this guy he just wants to talk about how he wants to fight me, and beat my ass because I beat Leonard. Waah, waah, waah…This guy, he’s a bully. He probably sees me as being the easiest target or the easiest kill, so he can bring it on, come on. I don’t think he’s horrible or anything like that, I really like his style as a fighter, but I think as far as the level, that he would be a step down from Matt Wiman.”
