The troubled former professional wrestler has a history of writing shocking posts, but this one might have criminal ramifications.

It appears that Marty Jannetty felt he was writing a post about a romantic breakup on Facebook, but as a sideline to that he may have confessed to murder.

Best known as a part of a tag team named “The Rockers” with Shawn Michaels in pro wrestling, Jannetty has been open about his struggle with addiction and has dealt with controversy over his social media in the past. In a post he said was written by hackers, Jannetty—or someone pretending to be Jannetty—expressed a desire to sleep with his daughter. Or a girl who may be his daughter. It’s all a bit confusing, and was covered in detail by the New York Post two years ago.

On August 5th, Jannetty once again waded into hot water with a post that appears to describe a murder he committed at age thirteen. Disturbingly, he leads with the line, “That was the very first time I made a man disappear…”

The post, since removed, read in its entirety:

I never told no one this, even my brother Geno..cause Geno would’ve killed him, and I didn’t want my brother gone,,hell he’d only recently came home from Viet Name..I was 13, working at Victory lanes bowling alley buying weed from a f— that worked there..and he put his hands on me..he dragged me around to the back of the building..you already know what he was gonna try to do..

That was the very first time I made a man disappear..they never found him..they should looked in the Chattahoochie River..but Winnie(the girl in these pics) I likes you so damn much, probably my favorite..but I promised myself way back then, nobody would ever hurt me again..that includes you..I loved you but you hurt me with your f—in Jamaican jealousy..you can go your own way, I don’t need you..

When concerned commenters followed up with Jannetty, he appeared to confirm the confession in a subsequent reply.

His comment confirmation read as follows:

Me and Winnie just had a fall out..but, if you’re asking about that other thing..yes, that was a billion years ago, plus, I have the satisfaction of knowing that BITCH ass n*nja never got to do another kid like that..

Obviously, these social media posts raise a lot of questions. It is possible that Jannetty, who clearly has exhibited unstable behavior in the past, has fabricated the story. But if he is telling the truth, the fact the incident took place “a billion years ago” will not help him. There is no statute of limitations on murder in Georgia.

Many people on social media have commented on the other disturbing elements of Jannetty’s post, including the not-so-low-key threat of domestic violence and racism.

TMZ reports that the Columbus Police Department in Georgia have began investigating the details of Jannetty’s post.

A star athlete in high school, Jannetty not only excelled in wrestling but also boxed, winning several Golden Gloves events. He went to Auburn University, intent on participating in their wrestling program, but the program was cut from their athletics department. At that time Jannetty met Jerry Oates, who became his trainer and lured him into professional wrestling.
