Daniel Cormier responded to Jon Jones calling his weigh in controversy ‘dirty’
Jon Jones recently went on record to call Daniel Cormier’s controversial weigh-in, as “one of the dirtiest things I’ve seen in sports.” Shortly after his UFC 210 victory, DC responded to his old rival’s comments, citing his failed drug test and basically calling him a hypocrite.
“It’s like you sit there and you take a table, put a whole bunch of kitchen appliances. At the end of one side, there’s a pot, and at the other side is a kettle. That pot starts yelling, ‘you’re dirty!’ while you’re sitting there with a steroid needle,” Cormier said with a laugh, during the post-fight press conference. “That’s my opinion on that.
“You sit over there pot, with your cialis or whatever that s—t’s called. Get over there. Sit over there, pot, in detention. Cialis boy.”
Jones tested positive for clomiphene and letrozole metabolites, which also led to the cancellation of his rematch with Cormier at UFC 200. Jon was subsequently suspended for 1 year, which will make him eligible to return a few months from now.
