Bellator MMA is all set to uncork the Bellator 194: “Nelson vs. Mitrione 2” mixed martial arts (MMA) event later tonight (Fri., Feb. 16, 2018) inside Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., featuring a Heavyweight Grand Prix main event pitting Roy Nelson (23-14) against Matt Mitrione (12-5), a rematch nearly five years in the making.
“Big Country” finished “Meathead” at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 16 Finale back in 2012.
To help fight fans get amped for tonight’s titanic tilt, Bellator has rolled out episode two of its Bellator 194 “Countdown” series (watch episode one right here). Get a closer look at how both combatants prepare for their fight, then get some behind-the-scenes footage from Thursday’s weigh ins.
The Bellator 194 main card will start at 9 p.m. ET on Paramount Network (formerly Spike TV), while the “Prelims” undercard matches will get underway a little earlier online at 7 p.m. ET. MMAmania.com, of course, will deliver results and play-by-play updates for the entirety of the Bellator 194 fight card.
