Colby Covington threw blatantly racist insults at Kamaru Usman after the UFC Vegas 11 event.
Colby Covington got back on track and defeated Tyron Woodley on the main event of UFC Vegas 11. He screamed his usual pro-Trump lines immediately after, but then his statements took a turn for the worse when confronted by his former opponent.
Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman was part of the UFC post-fight show crew, and unsurprisingly got in a bit of a spat with the always loud Covington. Usman prodded at Donald Trump’s congratulatory phone call, and Covington immediately responded with blatant racist insults at his Nigerian-American opponent.
“Who did you get a call from?!” Covington responded. “Did you get a call from, freaking, your little tribe? Did they give you some smoke signals for you? (laughs) You’re a joke Marty Fake Newsman!”
Usman shrugged off the continuous insults, then brought up how he broke Covington’s jaw when they fought.
“I finished you. I broke your face. I broke your face,” Usman responded.
Covington pretended it didn’t happen, then just started screaming loudly after. Watch the exchange below:

Usman repeatedly knocked down and eventually stopped Covington in the fifth round of their December 2019 title fight. The welterweight champion went on to defend his title against Jorge Masvidal last July, remaining undefeated at 12-0 in the UFC.
