The veteran UFC cutman regrets embarrassing the UFC yet defended still his decision to wear QAnon conspiracy markings.

The UFC has launched an investigation into the QAnon conspiracy symbols worn by a cutman during the UFC on ESPN 11 broadcast last week.

As reported by BloodyElbow.com, veteran UFC cutman Don House was spotted wearing QAnon conspiracy theory markings on official attire. The markings were visible on his chest and arm during the UFC on ESPN 11 main event between Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov.

ESPN reported that the UFC was “unaware” of the markings until they were notified on Monday, adding that House did not ask for approval to wear the QAnon patches on his clothing.

“This was a violation of our staff event outfitting policy and the matter will be thoroughly investigated,” said the UFC.

House, who spoke to MMAFighting.com on Tuesday, seemed to regret his decision to wear the markings due to the “embarrassment” it caused the UFC and President Dana White, whom he refers to as a “friend of mine.” However, he also defended his actions by claiming he was attempting to promote a message of unity.

“All the conspiracy, all the stuff they say about the group, I’ve got nothing to do with that,” House told MMA Fighting. “I just like the message: Where we go one, we go all.”

While House claims to have no relation in the conspiracy component of QAnon, he appeared to agree with some of the sprawling internet theory’s key principles, including their quest to expose an alleged international child sex trafficking ring. “They’re trying to expose that, “ said House.

While QAnon remains a bizarre internet theory, it has also been labeled a potential domestic terror threat by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) in 2019. Yet despite its dangerous conspiracies, House insisted that he will continue to support its message.

“That’s the message that I’ll always live with, and I thought it would look great on my sleeve. I didn’t know it would cause this much controversy. Do I regret it? Yeah, I do, the embarrassment for the UFC and to Dana, because he is a friend of mine. But do I believe that we as Americans should be one? I will until the day I die.”
