Cristiane Justino, Santos’ ex-wife, provided an update on Instagram. She wrote doctors are continuing to closely monitor Santos’ health in case his brain continues swelling (warning: graphic image):

“I’m under observation now and will have surgery in the United States,” Cyborg told Cruz. “I had a serious injury, but Bellator is giving me all the support I need.“
