Dagestani Grocer Selling Chicken Labeled ‘Conor McGregor’

Irish fanboys, who recently joined forces to create the Conor Crybaby Coalition (C3), will no doubt be boycotting this new line of frozen poultry being sold in Dagestan, which recently changed its label from “chicken” to “Conor McGregor.”

Irish fanboys, who recently joined forces to create the Conor Crybaby Coalition (C3), will no doubt be boycotting this new line of frozen poultry being sold in Dagestan, which recently changed its label from “chicken” to “Conor McGregor.”

I guess they’re synonymous, depending on where you’re from.

This marketing stunt is undoubtedly a show of support for newly-crowned UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, who captured the crown with a five-round shellacking of Al Iaquinta last weekend in Brooklyn, New York.

“The Eagle” could have battled McGregor instead, but “Notorious” doesn’t seem to be in any real hurry to fight, unless you’re willing to meet him in a dimly-lit parking garage surrounded by transport vehicles.

Think of that fight scene from Lionheart and you get the idea.

Nurmagomedov is expected to return to action after Ramadan, which is right around the same time McGregor claims he’s making his UFC comeback. We also have interim champion Tony Ferguson in the mix, but as of this writing, there are no frozen meat products labeled “El Cucuy.”
