UFC welterweight, and TUF 9 finalist, DaMarques ‘Darkness’ Johnson (12-9) has been forced to withdraw from UFC Fight Night: Shields vs. Ellenberger due to injury. Replacing him on the New Orleans card will be “TUF 11″ fighter Seth ‘Polish Pistola’ Baczynski (13-6) who now faces Clay ‘Heavy Metal’ Harvison (9-3).

UFC officials announced the change up on Wednesday evening at UFC.com.

UFC Fight Night: Shields vs. Ellenberger (aka UFN 25, UFC Fight Night 25, and UFC: Battle on the Bayou) is scheduled to take place on September 17 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Baczynski returns to the UFC after a two bout absence, having been dismissed after losing to Brad Tavares by decision at the TUF 11 Finale back in June of last year. Since then the ‘Polish Pistola’ earned two (T)KO stoppages fighting under the Tachi Palace Fights banner in December, and the Montreal based Ringside promotion in April of this past year.

Harvison, a member of Team Lesnar during the last season of TUF, made his promotional debut at the TUF 13 Finale earning a split decision over housemate Justin Edwards at the June show. That victory was his third in-a-row and seventh-in-eight bouts.
