UFC President Dana White recently spoke with TMZ about the latest chapter in the ongoing saga between the UFC and Conor McGregor.
McGregor recently tweeted that he was back on the UFC 200 card, even thanking Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta for “coming through for the fans.” However, soon after McGregor posted the tweet, White claimed it simply wasn’t true.
Late Monday evening, TMZ published a new video interview with White where he further addressed the situation.
“He’ll fight on 201, 202, 203 — whatever,” said White. “I don’t know when. We’ll get it figured out.”
Regarding the tweet McGregor posted claiming he was back on the UFC 200 lineup, White offered the following take.
“I don’t know,” White said. “I don’t know why he did [that]. I still haven’t talked to him. We had a whole press conference about this. I just don’t know how more clear I can make it.”
UFC 200 is scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the brand new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
