A fan recently asked Dana White about the possibility of a rematch between Robbie Lawler and Nick Diaz, and the UFC president replied positively on Twitter. Here’s what White had to say:

Lawler and Diaz fought back at UFC 47 in 2004, which saw Lawler suffer his only knockout loss in his career. Lawler is currently the UFC welterweight champion and does not have an opponent lined up for his next fight. Diaz is suspended from competing until August 1st, so the fight couldn’t take place until later this year if the UFC decided to pursue it.
