Roberts is 3-1 in his last four which is also his record with the UFC. He made his debut in March of 2010 suffering his first professional loss to John Howard at UFC Live: Vera vs. Jones. “Ninja” recovered from that loss to win three straight by defeating Forrest Petz at UFC 116 via split decision, Mike Guymon at UFC 121 by anaconda choke, and last weekend at UFC 125 by submitting Greg Soto with a kimura.

Patrick has won his last twelve fights including both of his UFC appearances. He stopped James Wilks via unanimous decision at UFC 120 in October and submitted Ricardo Funch at UFC 115 with a guillotine choke last June. The Canadian will get a chance to fight in front of his home town crowd when he steps into the octagon against Roberts at UFC 129.

UFC 129 will take place on April 30 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario and will mark the promotions first appearance in the Province. The event has quickly filled up and the card appears set, but unofficial and will coincide with a two-day UFC Fan Expo at the Direct Energy Centre.
