Tyron Woodley

Daniel Cormier was far from happy with Tyron Woodley creating a meme-making contest about himself following his loss to Jake Paul.

Despite suffering another embarrassing defeat, Woodley was in very good spirits, to the point that he offered a $5,000 reward to whoever could create the best meme of said loss, and he has already picked a winner.

Even though Woodley had no problem taking shots at himself, Daniel Cormier was far less than happy. During the most recent episode of ESPN’s “DC & RC” YouTube show, “DC” said:

“It’s a bad look. And you know what’s worse? [what happened] after. I don’t know what T-Wood was doing on social media. He pulls the knockout. He made a contest [about making memes of himself], it’s like Jake Paul beating these dudes so bad, that they start to make fun of themselves.”

DC explains the dangers of fighters like Tyron Woodley facing Paul

In the same episode, Cormier explained the dangers of fighters like Woodley taking on someone like Paul:

“They’re going to fight this kid under his ruleset. This kid has all the time in the world to train. Kid has money. Kid has ways of improving, and honestly, he’s much better than people give him credit for. Kid can fight a little bit.” (Transcribed by Sportskeeda)

After knocking out Woodley, Paul has since proceeded to call out Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz. The former has seemingly declined the challenge, whilst Diaz has not yet surfaced to respond.

Do you think Daniel Cormier is right? Is Tyron Woodley mocking himself a bad look?
