Bellator 238: “Budd vs. Cyborg” goes down this weekend (Sat., Jan. 25, 2020) at The Forum in Inglewood, California. The Featherweight title is on the line along with a nearly decade-long win streak for Julia Budd (13-2) as she faces one of the most feared strikers in women’s MMA, Cris Cyborg (21-2, 1 NC).

The card was also expected to feature several fun matches featuring high-level Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioners, but they always warn, “card subject to change” for a reason. MMA Fighting brought word that Dillon Danis (2-0) would be unable to take his fight with Kegan Gennrich (2-1) due to injury. In addition, Khonry Gracie (2-1) was also forced out of a “Prelims” undercard bout with “The Mexicutioner” Hector Saldana (2-4) for the same reason.

The latest version of the main card now includes showcase fights for kickboxer Raymond Daniels (1-1) and professional boxer Ava Knight (1-0), as well as a “consolation bracket” fight between Juan Archuleta (23-2) and Henry Corrales (17-4) at Featherweight.
