Two bouts were added to the upcoming UFC 190 event in Rio de Janeiro.
Demian Maia, who headlined UFC’s last trip to Rio in March, will take on rising welterweight Neil Magny on Aug. 1. Tatame first reported the bout, which was later confirmed by UFC Brazil general manager Giovani Decker on Revista Combate.
Maia (20-6), a former UFC middleweight title contender, is 3-1 under the UFC banner when fighting in Brazil. The jiu-jitsu ace enters the bout coming off back-to-back wins over Ryan LaFlare and Alexander Yakovlev, both fights contested on Brazilian soil.

The second bout added to UFC 190 will feature Hugo Viana and Guido Cannetti, who competed at TUF’s first Brazilian and Latin American seasons, respectively. Sources close to the situation confirmed the bout to MMAFighting.com following a report by Tatame.
