Despite Delivering Extra Strikes, Strikeforce Champ Luke Rockhold Felt It Was A Good Stoppage

Strikeforce middleweight champ Luke Rockhold defended his belt for the first time Saturday night in the main event of the first Strikeforce show of 2012. He was able to land some big shots in the first round against Keith Jardine, and feels that despite what it may have looked like, referee Herb Dean made the right call by waiting to see if ‘The Dean of Mean’ would recover in time.
