Nick Diaz says he’s focused on his UFC return.

Nick Diaz was arrested last May due to allegations of domestic violence. On Thursday, the case was dismissed and the UFC fighter was cleared of all charges. Diaz then took to social media to issue a statement.

“I’m grateful this case is finally over, I want to thank my team and my lawyer Ross Goodman for the excellent work. But most importantly, I want to thank the fans who stuck by me throughout this process. I’m happy to put this chapter of my life behind me and I’m looking forward to focusing on my return.”

In a follow up video from his Instagram Stories, Diaz filmed himself saying “they tried to lock me up, but they can’t hold your boy down.”

Diaz, who recently turned 35, hasn’t competed in the UFC since his bout with Anderson Silva in January 2015. The former Strikeforce champion’s last victory came against B.J. Penn back in 2011.
