“I ain’t fighting no trilogy. He already got his ass whipped. He can fight everybody else, I got shit to do too.”

You didn’t expect Nate Diaz to compliment Khabib Nurmagomedov or Conor McGregor in the lead-up to UFC 229’s main event, did you?

In vintage Diaz style, younger brother Nate put Khabib and McGregor on blast in a recent interview with TMZ Sports, claiming that Nurmagomedov ‘fights like a little b-tch’ and that he has already ‘slapped the sh-t out of both of them.’

“I already told you about those guys, I slapped the shit out of both of them,” Diaz said (h/t Tom Taylor of BJPenn.com). “They need to quit acting like them motherf*ckers are running shit. There’s one king in this motherf*cker and he’s right here. I think Conor’s got a way better fighting style. Khabib’s scared for his life, so I don’t know how good he’s going to do with that. He might get scared and hold on for his life. I hope that’s not happening for the sake of fighting. We don’t need two boring ass champions.”

“I ain’t pulling for nobody,” he continued. “Double knockout as far as I’m concerned. But let’s get something. Let’s get a fight. No bitch-ass hold on for your life, ‘I work so hard’… That boy [Nurmagomedov] ain’t fought nobody. He went and grabbed on for his life against everybody. He fights like a scared little bitch. I’m going for the fighters in this one.”

It’s expected that, win or lose at UFC 229, McGregor will inevitably go on to face Diaz in a trilogy fight. McGregor was submitted by Diaz at UFC 196 but rallied back to win the rematch in a Fight of the Year classic at UFC 202.

Diaz, though, who is gearing up to face Dustin Poirier at the upcoming UFC 230 PPV, has no interest in a rematch with the Irishman. The Stockton local feels as though he already ‘whipped’ McGregor in both fights at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.

“I ain’t fighting no trilogy,” Diaz said. “He already got his ass whipped. He can fight everybody else, I got shit to do too.”

Switching his attention back to Khabib, Diaz said he ‘slapped’ the Dagestani and his ‘boys’ during a brawl in 2015.

“I don’t wanna fight no boring ass fighter,” he said. “I already slapped the guy on the street and that motherf*cker didn’t do shit. And then he tried to roll up with his boys and I slapped all those motherfuckers too. Pussies.”

UFC 230, which will feature a lightweight bout between Diaz and Poirier in the co-main event, takes place next month, Nov. 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

UFC 229, which features the highly anticipated lightweight title bout between Khabib and McGregor, takes place tomorrow, Oct. 6 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
