Tweets of the Day: Two BMFs agree that Max Holloway should’ve won a decision at UFC 251.
Max Holloway lost a split decision to Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 251, failing to recapture the featherweight belt he held for years. It was close and competitive, but many — including UFC President Dana White — felt that the Hawaiian did enough to win.
Nate Diaz was also among those who think Holloway should’ve reclaimed his title. He took to social media after to comment on what he considers a robbery, while also giving Rose Namajunas props for her gutsy win over Jessica Andrade.
Shoutout to Rose and Max they robbed max tho but to the real fighters out there

While Diaz may not agree on everything his BMF opponent has said recently, Masvidal also happened to be in the same page.
No doubt about it @BlessedMMA won his fight

All three judges gave the first two rounds to Holloway, but he lost rounds three to five on two of the judges scorecards, which gave Volkanovski the split decision victory. For what it’s worth, more MMA media scored it for Holloway, with 18 members giving it to him, compared to 9 to Volkanovski.
