Mike Tyson says he got high before his fight with Roy Jones Jr. this past weekend.

Did Mike Tyson actually fight while high against Roy Jones Jr. this past weekend?

Yes, according to the heavyweight boxing legend. ‘Iron Mike’ admitted to smoking cannabis right before his walkout at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, admitting in the post-fight press conference that he ‘can’t stop smoking’ weed.

“Absolutely, yes,” Tyson, who owns cannabis farm Tyson Ranch, admitted to reporters after his eight-round exhibition against Jones Jr. on Saturday. (h/t MMA Junkie).

“It’s just who I am,” he added. “It has no effect on me from a negative standpoint. It’s just what I do and how I am and how I’m going to die. There’s no explanation. There’s no beginning. There’s no end.”

Tyson fought Jones to a draw but many feel the 54-year-old should have been awarded the win. When asked if his pre-fight smoke helped to numb the pain, the heavyweight boxing legend responded with the following statement.

“No, it just numbs me,” he said. “It doesn’t numb the pain.”

Tyson expects to continue fighting and teased that his next bout could be a rematch against Evander Holyfield.
