After some recent comments from Steven Seagal about the Khabib-McGregor brawl, Dillon Danis wants a piece of the 66-year-old martial artist.

The last time Dillon Danis was in the news, he was at the receiving end of a flying attack from Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. It is unclear if he is actually suspended or not over the incident still, but it hasn’t stopped him from keeping up appearances on social media. And his latest target is a bit of an odd one – Steven Seagal.

Seagal, who has sat on the periphery of MMA for many years, was recently a guest on Submission Radio and he defended Khabib’s actions against Danis after Nurmagomedov defeated Conor McGregor:

“Do I condemn him for what he did after the fight? No. Even as a diplomat I will say no. If you badmouth someone’s family, their wife, their children, their mother, their father, their country, their religion, all bets are off, and I would have done the same thing.”

I guess Danis wasn’t a fan of this, because the 25-year-old BJJ practitioner with one MMA fight under his belt challenged the 66-year-old martial artist to a fight. And asked Bellator to host it:

And while it’s ridiculous on the surface, Bellator didn’t just ignore it. In fact, they actually promoted the idea on their own social media:

I…have no idea what to say. At least it’s a winnable fight for Danis? Bellator has put on some crazy fights in the past, but this would never come to pass. Or it shouldn’t, anyway.
