Do it right, and it could make you rich. Do it wrong, and … well, let’s take a look at what happened to Conor McGregor entourage member Dillon Danis when he tried to talk s**t about Jake Shields.

Enter Shields, who helpfully reminded Danis how that Submission Underground 4 match pictured went down.

And here’s Dillon’s response, which was deleted soon after.

It didn’t take long for the internet to start piling on…

And even some fighters got in on the game.

Danis’ sole MMA fight went down at Bellator 198 back in April of 2018 – unless you factor in getting jump kicked by Khabib Nurmagomedov in October. We imagine he should be in action again soon, which is probably for the best. He’s way better in the cage than he is on Twitter.
