A lightweight bout between top-10 contenders Donald Cerrone and Rafael dos Anjos is slated for the co-main event of UFC on FOX Sports 1 #2.

Indystar.com first reported the booking on Wednesday, which was then confirmed by UFC officials.

UFC on FS1 #2 takes place August 28, 2013 at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Top welterweight contenders Carlos Condit and Martin Kampmann rematch in the night’s main event.

Cerrone (20-5, 1 NC) looks to continue his climb back up the ladder after crumbling to Anthony Pettis in just two-and-a-half minutes at UFC on FOX 6. The loss was Cerrone’s second in UFC No. 1 contender fights, prompting “Cowboy” to seek the help of a sports psychologist to uncover why he continues to fall short in high-profile bouts.

Thus far the changes made by Cerrone seem to have worked, as the 30-year-old returned to form and dominated Strikeforce import K.J. Noons to seize a unanimous decision victory at UFC 160.

Dos Anjos (19-6), meanwhile, rides into the bout on a wave of momentum after extending his UFC-career high winning streak to four straight. The Brazilian holds 12 Octagon appearances to his name since 2008, but only recently seems to have put everything together with consecutive victories over Kamal Shalorus, Anthony Njokuani, Mark Bocek and Evan Dunham.
