Donald Trump might be the current front-runner in the race for the GOP presidential nomination, but he was mistaken when he counted Ronda Rousey as one of his supporters.
When discussing whether he would let women fight in the military in an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo on Wednesday, the presidential hopeful noted Rousey as a woman he would “take as a fighter,” adding that she likes him:
But as CNN’s Tal Kopan pointed out, Trump was wrong.
The UFC women’s bantamweight champion had actually told CNN in a recent interview not only that she wouldn’t vote for Trump, but that she wouldn’t want him to run the country:
Looks like Trump isn’t quite as lucky as Cuomo said.
