Double Stomp Attack!

You don’t see stuff like this that often outside of pro wrestling.

Fans of oldschool “Shogun” Rua style PRIDE stomps, do we have something for you.

V3 Fights 68 went down in Robinsonville Mississippi on Saturday night and featured a pro-wrestling style double stomp from Brian Hall executed on his downed opponent, Jeremy Rogers. Watch it here:

THAT’S F@*#%* ILLEGAL! Brian Hall with an illegal stomp to Jeremy Rogers’ midsection. Fight will be called a no contest. #V3Fights68 pic.twitter.com/p8jovEhJes

Unfortunately for Hall, kicks to the body of a downed opponent may be legal but footstomps (both singular and two at a time) are illegal no matter where they land. The bout was declared a No Contest, which is certainly better than a DQ loss for Brian Hall. Maybe that’s why he looks so pleased with himself during the post-fight announcement.

The bout was ruled a no contest after an illegal stomp on a downed opponent. We haven’t seen the last of this one yet!

The attached Facebook message from V3 Fights implies Rogers and Hall may end up having a rematch. Rogers is 0-1 in his short pro career. Hall is an 8-4 veteran with fights under the Bellator, LFC, and RFA banner, but this was his first fight in nearly three years.
