Drake is once again placing his dreaded curse on Israel Adesanya ahead of UFC 305 later tonight (Sat., Aug. 17, 2024) LIVE on ESPN+ PPV from inside RAC Arena in Perth, Australia, as the millionaire rapper has wagered $450,000 on “Last Stylebender” to defeat UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis in the main event.

As you may know, Drake likes to throw some big cash at some of UFC’s most high-profile matchups. The popular hip-hop artist has backed fighters such as Alex Pereira, Nate Diaz, Leon Edwards, and even Francis Ngannou when he fought Anthony Joshua, but one of Drake’s favorite picks is Adesanya.

Check out some of Drake’s past bets on “Last Stylebender” below:

  • Picked Adesanya to knockout Sean Strickland at UFC 293 (lost $500K)
  • Picked Adesanya to knockout Pereira at UFC 287 (won $2.7 million)
  • Picked Adesanya to defeat Pereira at UFC 281 (lost $2 million)
  • Picked Adesanya to defeat Jared Cannonier at UFC 276 (won $200K)

Coming into this weekend, Drake is once again putting his money on Adesanya to win in the main event. This time around, Drake is betting $450,000 that “Last Stylebender” leaves UFC 305 with the middleweight title. The official payout is just north of $850,000, which isn’t as big as previous wagers but still a great way to close out the weekend.

Check out the official bet slip below:

“Always with Izzy,” wrote Drake.

What do you think, Maniacs? Did Drake just curse Adesanya again or will “Last Stylebender” make the rap artist some extra money this weekend?

Sound off!
