Fans in the United States who were hoping for a chance to catch the upcoming “GSI presents DREAM.18 & Glory 4 Tokyo – Special 2012 – New Year’s Eve” can rejoice with the news that the CBS Sports Network will carry the show via tape delay.

The broadcast will be broken into two parts with the Glory card airing on Dec. 31 at 10pm EST and the DREAM card airing on Jan. 1 at 10pm EST. Fans looking to watch the entire event live can catch via online pay-per-view for $20 at GloryWorldSeries.com.

News of the NBC Sports broadcast was first announced by MMAFighting.com earlier today.

Also confirmed for the event is an mma women’s bantamweight match between former Strikeforce champ Marloes Coenen (20-5) and Australian fighter Fiona Muxlow (6-1). MMAWeekly.com made the announcement earlier today also.

Coenen hasn’t been in action since this past April when she headlined the inaugural Invicta FC promotion back in April picking up a decision victory over Romy Ruyssen. The victory put her back into the win column after losing the Strikeforce 135-lbs title to Miehsa Tate back in July 2011.

Muxlow has won three straight and had her last fight in October, earning a unanimous decision at a local BFW show. Over her career, she’s earned one win via TKO, three by submission and two by decision.

The GLORY Sports International presents Dream 18 & Glory 4 Tokyo ~ Special 2012 ~ New Year’s Eve event is scheduled for December 31, 2012 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The event features a mixed martial arts and a one-night, single-elimination 16-man kickboxing heavyweight tournament.
