UFC on FUEL: Barao vs. McDonald (aka UFC on FUEL TV 7) is expected to take place on February 16, 2013 at the Wembly Arena in London, England. The event will see bantamweight interim-champ Renan Barao defend his title for the first time versus top contender Michael McDonald.

Poirier was in the cage last month at the TUF 16 Finale, submitting Jonathan Brookins at the December 15 event. The win put ‘The Diamond’s’ back into the win column after a loss to Chan Sung Jung last May following a fourth round technical submission. Poirier had been on a five fight win streak.

Swanson has earned three straight after dropping his Octagon debut with (T)KO finishes in each bout. Swanson knocked out Charles Oliveira last September at UFC 152 in a “Knockout of the Knight” KO, while finishing Ross Pearson, at UFC on FX 4, and George Roop, at UFC on FOX 2, by TKO.
