On Wednesday in Japan, FieLDS Dynamite!! 2010 officials laid out the rules for the upcoming bout between K-1 MAX Japan tournament champ Yuichiro “Jienotsu” Nagashima and DREAM lightweight champ Shinya Aoki.

Officials also laid out the official rules for the IGF special rules Heavyweight bout between Bob Sapp and Shinichi Suzukawa.

Nagashima and Aoki will meet in a mixed rules bout that will consist of alternating rounds of kickboxing and mma rules fighting. The bout will begin under the kickboxing rules for the first round using DREAM open finger gloves, then it will switch to DREAM mma rules for the second. There will be no third round and if their is no winner the bout will be considered a draw.

Aoki Shinya and Yuichiro “Jienotsu” Nagashima’s bout will start using kickboxing rules. There will be no clinch allowed, and 3 downs within a round will be considered a TKO. This round will last for 3 minutes. The second round will be a standard 5 minute DREAM rules bout. Both rounds will be fought using official DREAM open-finger gloves. In the case where there has been no winner via (T)KO or submission in regulation time, the bout will be considered a draw.

Meanwhile the rules for the Sapp and Suzukawa bout will be conducted under the standard DREAM rules except for one change, no closed fist striking. They are only allowed to use open handed strikes for their fight.

The Dynamite!! 2010 fight festival event takes place on Dec. 31, New Years Eve, at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan and will be broadcast in North America live on HDNet.
