Eddie Alvarez Given Early Release From Bellator, Possible Meeting With UFC Execs This Week

Former Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez still isn’t sure where he’ll end up next for his next fight noting that “nothing is set in stone” as to which promotion he’ll sign with. Alvarez was in Las Vegas to support his fellow Blackzilian teammates competing at the WSOF 1 event. In the interview Alvarez praises Bellator and CEO Bjorn Rebney for giving him his early release, while giving a knowing smile when asked if he had any meetings while in Las Vegas. It’s no secret that UFC president Dana White is interested in the top five lightweight.
